  • What is OMP Money?

    OMP Money is a Super app, which means it provides an interface that incorporates multiple services and features in one place. You can access OMP by the smartphone app or the website via any web browser. OMP is in the early stage of development, and services will be added over time.

  • What are the advantages of a Super App?

    A Super app can manage several services all via a single login. You can access various tools and services thanks to multiple third parties joining the app, massively enhancing marketplace capabilities. You can also save memory on your device, with all information, history, and wallets being recorded in a single account.

  • What services are available in OMP?

    OMP opened with just payment tools for fiat money and cryptocurrencies. However, OMP aims to have at least 40 services, including in the field of payments, online shopping, currency exchange, travel booking, and more. Check out the upcoming services on here.

  • What service do I have immediately after registration?

    You can create a private or a business IBAN account that you can use to send, store, and receive funds via SEPA bank transfer payment, and you can send and receive funds instantly between OMP accounts.

LOGIN AND REGISTRATION

  • How can I register?

    You can choose between opening a private account (for your personal management) or business (for your company). To open an account, you must fulfill the following requirements: - obtain an invitation code - use your email with which you will access the account - provide general information about you, including your phone number - provide security questions and associated answers to ensure you can gain access in case of difficulty.

  • What are the requirements to open an account with OMP?

    You must have:
    - at least 18 years old
    - a resident of a member country of the EEA
    - a valid, in-date ID document
    - an invitation code.

  • What is an invitation code?

    OMP is in its first phase and is reserved only for people who have received the invitation code, and it can only be used for one account. If you want to know more, ask the person who recommended OMP to you or contact the customer service team at: support@ompmoney.com

  • My invitation code is not working. What can I do?

    1. Each code is unique, and if it has already been used for registration, it will be reported to you as no longer valid for a new sign-up.
    2. The code is alphanumeric: copy and paste the entire code, not just the series of numbers.
    3. Check there are no spaces before or after the code.

  • Which methods can I use to log on my OMP account?

    1. You can access OMP through any browser from a mobile or desktop device.

ACCOUNT VERIFICATION

  • What is KYC?

    A know-your-customer (KYC) check is the mandatory process to identify and verify the identity of a person opening an account. The procedures fall within the broader scope of OMP's anti-money-laundering policy.

  • What is asked of me during the KYC?

    Follow the step-by-step guide to successfully complete your identity verification. The information must be written correctly, and the photos taken so that the required documents are legible. Please take time to do it correctly as requested, or your form will be rejected.

  • What device should I use to complete my KYC form?

    You can do it either with a desktop computer or a mobile device such as a smartphone. A smartphone is necessary for the photo taking phase, but if you start verifying on a desktop, that's fine; you will get a code to take photos using a mobile.

  • How long does it take to verify my account?

    It usually takes a few moments to verify your identity on OMP, but in some cases it may take longer. The duration of the KYC depends on several factors, including the account type (private / business), the documents provided, and more.

    You can currently use SEPA bank transfer payments to top up your account. More payment methods will be coming soon.

  • Is there a limit on funds and turnover?

    Yes, it depends on your account. You will be able to view the limit on your personal profile page.

  • What currencies are available on the exchange?

    At the moment, wallets are available for holding and exchanging:

SECURITY AND PRIVACY

  • What security measures protect my account?

    You will receive an email every time your account is logged in.
    2. In your account settings you can activate:
    - Two-factor authentication. An extra layer of security makes sure you are the only person who can access your account, even if someone knows your password.
    - Recovery email. You can enter a secondary email address which is useful if you no longer have access to the email address linked to your account. We recommend that you connect your personal email address; you can also choose that of a person you trust, but keep in mind that with that address you have access to your account.
    3. Also remember:
    - Set up your country restrictions
    - Do not share your password
    - Change your password often (every 30-90 days)
    - Avoid predictable passwords
    - Do not let your internet browser remember your password
    - Do not use an unreliable Wi-Fi connection when accessing OMP

  • Why does the log-out happen automatically?

    OMP will automatically log you out when you stop using your account. It's a safety measure.

  • Is my information safe?

    Your information is stored securely on our local servers that are not accessible via an external network or disclosed to any third parties to prevent any illegal activity.
